Live visuals at Sound of Stockholm

Live visual performance alongside the techno duo SHXCXCHCXSH at the Reactor Hall [R1] during the festival Sound of Stockholm. The animations were created through computational methods in cooperation with SHXCXCHCXSH, and transformed live through audio reactive effects.
The Reactor Hall R1 is buried 25 metres directly underneath the KTH Royal Insitute of Technology in Stockholm, and was Sweden’s first nuclear reactor. The reactor was active from 1954 to 1970. The concern over the reactor’s proximity to Stockholm led to its closure, and the reactor was dismantled. There is nothing left of it today; although the reactor hall still exists and is used as a venue for modern art and performances
